Kid Town
A joint effort between Ronald McDonald House Charities of Western Wisconsin and Southeastern Minnesota and Gundersen Lutheran Cancer Center in La Crosse, Wisconsin funded this fantastic project. Kid Town is a place for children so ill or their treatment so severe that they cannot leave the hospital to have some fun. Kid Town is a large room with a park setting (shown in the images below) but also has faux buildings built in such as a movie theatre (with large screen TV), cyber cafe and arcade. If one had to be sick and stuck inside, this would be a great place to be.

The mural was a fun blend of 3D and flat, painted with the assistance of Dale Knaak.
